Just a Couple of Beer Lovers with a Dream

Did you know if you play your cards right, one at home brewing kit can turn into a full fledged brewery and taproom? At least, it did for Bob & Nikki — a husband & wife duo from the Fox Valley.

With his first kit, Bob experimented with recipes and shared the results with friends. This led to an unexpected discovery: not only did he love making it, people loved drinking it! What began as a hobby quickly turned into a passion and that's how TAQ [pronounced "Tack"] Brewing was born.

The Dream Becomes Reality

In May 2023, the first TAQ Brewing location was open to the public in Kaukauna, WI. You'll find Nikki behind the bar pouring you a cold one and running the business, while Bob continues to expand his beer repertoire at a much larger scale.

When you visit the taproom, you can expect to see many TAQ selections to choose from as well as rotating guest taps from other Wisconsin craft brewers. There's always something new to try so be sure to check back often!

A Blending of Passions

Beer isn't the only thing on Bob & Nikki's mind... Live music is also their jam! In fact, you may notice a theme when looking through the beer list and the bar decor. They are some of the biggest a Foo Fighters fans you'll ever meet! Every beer made at TAQ is named after a Foo Fighters song. (The seltzers are named after side-project songs done by the members.)

TAQ also supports local music by hosting live bands and musicians throughout the year. Nothing goes better with a great beer than some great tunes. Check out the events page to see who's playing soon.

We're Family & Dog Friendly

TAQ Brewing is a warm and welcoming environment. We offer soda, juice, and other non-alcoholic options for kids of all ages. Grab a board game, play some pinball, or throw a round of PopDarts on the balcony during the summer.

We know that dogs are family too! All well behaved dogs are welcomed both inside the brewery and on the balcony. Our furry friends must stay on a leash during their visit.
